Portrait Drawing & Painting

Unlock the art of capturing the human face and spirit in our Portrait Drawing and Painting course. Designed for artists at all levels, this course guides you through the essential techniques and creative processes needed to bring portraits to life on paper or canvas.
Over the sessions, you will learn to observe and interpret the subtle shapes, planes, and expressions that make each face unique. Starting with foundational drawing skills—proportions, anatomy, and structure—you’ll progress to exploring colour, light, and texture in painting.
Whether working with graphite, charcoal, acrylics, or oils, you’ll develop your ability to create portraits that not only resemble your subject but also convey personality and emotion.
